I would definately try the dripper, grunting & bleating, and YES rattling. I've had very good success with this. Your last rattle (and possibly most effective) will be about 15 min. before last shooting light or 15 min. after first morning light. The idea is to get him to come in just before hegets comfortable in his bedding area. He might decide to "investigate" one more time before he settles in, and that will be his last. What ever you decide to do, as long as he is still showing signs he's around then STICK IT OUT. Seven times out, before the rut, is not enough to move.
