The 6.5X55 can easily be set back and rechamberred to .260 Remington if there is enough "shank" on the barrel. Also, the 6.5-284 is a great caliber that can be rechambered to a 6.5 Swede barrel.

Some military actions do not like the fatter rebated head case, though. Most commercial ones willwork with minimal modifications.
