Was able to take this doe today at 4pm. No blind , no stand. Stood behind a fallen tree that was over a ditch it was about 2ft deep and 4 foot across. The ditch came to a triangle and I was standing at the top of it. Saw 4 deer browsing on what green stuff is left and 5 mins later they started to cross the ditch. The first one was the biggest and she was no more than 10 yrds from me when I shot. I'm still pumped. Heard a whack and though the string caught my sleeve but the arrow went straight thru and stuck in a sapling that was in the ditch. She went about 30yds and that was it. Hit the heart.
