I have mine sighted in 1" high at 50 yds also. I took the scope off mine and installed a Williams peep sight. Amazingly accurate out to 100 yds. I guess that's why the military uses them???
I enjoy carrying my 1895 guide gun and will be taking it for bear next week. Its like carrying an oversized handgun.
