Default RE: Which powder/pellets are best?

If you do a fairly little amount of shooting each year (like under 25 shots a year), pellets might be ok. If pellets, then 777.

Otherwise 777 pellets approach twice the cost of loose powder.

Idon't often shoot pellets unless someone gives me someas I shooton average about 10-15+pounds of powder a year.

My choices are always loose powder:
Black Mag'3, Hodgdon 777 2FG and 3FG and Swiss 2FG & 3FG Black Powder. (mostly 3FG granulations).

For best accuracy with a wide selection of projectiles for each rifle, loose powder is where it's at. Many (every one I have)rifles and bullet combinations prefer and in-between charge for the best consistant accuracy.
