My next door neighbor shoots them out of his garden with .22 shotshells.I hear him every now and then when he shoots most of the time with those shotshells he just peppers them and they run but sometimes he can get close enough to kill one. Ive shot several out of my back yard with my .22 pellet gun and it does just fine but its just as load as my neighbors shotshells.
