If you read what I said you would realize that the shot to the head would stop the heart.... the blood would be minimal due to the fact that it was a head shot and the arrow tip embedding itself into the body would cause minimal blood loss unless it penetrated inside the body a lot further! If you look the head of the arrow is trapped under the skin between the fat and the meat... which means there would be no blood loss!! The most you might expect on the arrow is some brain matter and nothing more which has a minimal chance of happening since the arrow penetrated the head so fast the tip pushes the matter to the sides and the arrow can pass through without hardly any contact! For a person who is " in the last year of my criminal justice degree, and all the investigation and crime scene classes you had to take" You would realize that the wound wouldn't produce any blood! The head of a deer is mych like the head of a humans it has blood in it but a lot smaller amount and seeing as you can't really get a good look at the arrow since its black and any blood would blend in and you wouldn't be able to see it unless inspected in real life you need to go back through those classes and pay closer attention. Besides that, if the deer was already dead.... why put an arrow into its head?
