went out with my uncle on Saturday. I only saw 3 doe at 60 yards but he had an exciting morning. At 6:30 he had an 8 point walk right to him and stop at 7 yards. He tried to draw but his right elbow kept hitting the tree so he had to let down. He waited until the buck walked to his left to get a clear shot. This time (still at 7 yards) he started to draw but due to his previous attempt at drawing his arrow was loose on the string and fell off. As he tried to get it back on the buck simply hopped away accross the powerline. 20 minutes later he had 5 doe at the exact same spot the buck was. he got to full draw but the last doe spotted him and hopped 5 yards away. He thought it was a clear shot so he took it. Too bad it was actually through some branches so his arrow deflected and he missed cleanly. Let's just say he's not gonna live this one down.
