On Friday I went and sat in a stand just off the powerlines with some cattails looking into a cedar swamp.I threw out some doe piss on a scent rag because the wind was in my favor. Around 4:30 I had some noise coming from the powerlines andI looked and seen a doe walk outI figured there would be a buck following it but no it was 3 yearlings walking together about 80yardsaway. So I let them pass through the cedar's and never seen them again.Around 4:50 I heard some racket in the hardwoods to my left andI seen a doe run by, about 30 seconds laterI seen a buck with its noes down and tail up, ran rightpast my scent rag without a clue in the world what was going on, anyways it was a good 60yards away from me soI didnt even bother pulling back. I attempted to rattle him in but he had his mind set he was going after that doe. O well it was at least fun to see some activity besides squirrels.
