The disadvantage to the 7 is all the yahoo's that will tell you that you need to get a real gun like a 30-06 because how can you possibly dispatch bambi with a 140 grains of certian death from a pea shooter like a 7-08.
You may call that a disadvantage but personally I enjoy seeing those yahoos shut their mouths after the animal hits the ground.
