I have found personnally that the Barnes Xhave been my mainstay in 120gr or 140gr due to a shoulder shot on a whitetail buck with a conventional bullet that more or less exploded on impact. Range was under 100 yards and the lead coreseperated fromthe copper acting like avarmint bullet. Word of advice to all if you have a 140 gr bullet travelling at 3375 fps stick with a barnes, fail safe or partition and you will be happy with the results. Any other findings out there in the STW world I would like to hear of them because this is thecartridge I use.
