We weren't using any kind of a blind, only sitting in front of tree stumps. her bow set up was an '05 Bowtech Defender set at 55 pounds and 26 inch draw shooting Easton LightSpeed 400's with a Muzzy 100 grain 3 blade. Though the arrow stopped in the off shoulder, it centered the heart and it was all over in 7 seconds. Her K.E. of the arrow was around 48.5 foot pounds,, all she can generate with her draw and arrow weight.

For hunting,, shoot as much K.E. as you can develop and shoot accurately with your set up and simply live with the results, you'll do just fine
