I used to work with the people that developed the HiViz X-Coil. If you look on their website, they have a graph that compares 5 pads. Pad A is a standard factory pad (I can't remember which one they used), can't remember what pad B is, but pad C is a Simms, and pad D is the Pachmayer Decellerator. The X-Coil is the best at reducing recoil, no doubt. But in my opinion they have two problems. 1 - they are they sticky type like the Simms, and 2 - they have to be installed by a gunsmith, like the Pachmayer. If these aren't a problem for you, they are great. But the other two are also huge improvements over standard pads.
