I wouldn't give up. My wife knew the day she met me, what hunting meant to me and that I was going to do it regardless and if she didnt like it to hit the road. She is still hereand still knows the rule.
Same here. She knows how it is when deer season is around. She even labeled it "my time". My wife is going downstate this weekend to see her sister and father, this weekend just happens to be opening weekend. When her sister asked what i would want to eat while i was at her house, my wife replied with "its opening weekend and he wont be there i can assure you of that"
Im very lucky to have found someone who is ok with it, but she knew hunting was my passion when we got together and she knew right away that for 2 months out of the year i spend a lot of time in the woods. If i were you i certianly wouldnt give up, if she really loves you then she would not want to make something you love so much be a hassle for you.
