Default RE: Hunting when leaves have fallen

I hear ya. It's about to be that time of year here in NJ and I vividly recall a few years back where one afternoon my buddy and I were hunting and all was good. We returned the very next day to hunt all morning and the difference between those two days were day and night. What i mean is that Saturday morning it looked like a nuclear bomb went off from our prior day of hunting as about 99% of the leaves fell overnight and we could see for about 1/4 mile thru the woods! It was wierd!

But, you adapt. I have a few trees I use my climber in where I have a good background or another tree I use that splits into a huge 'Y' right at the ground and the one part of the tree I don't climb provides me with decent concealment. Otherwise, you try to climb a bit higher or amongst a grouping of trees.
