The summit climbing system does both......Mainline around the tree, prussik knot with carabiner (sp) attached to your harness. Throw it up the tree like you see the guys is the logging competitions, and raise the prussik knot, raise the stand...do it until your at height. Reverse to go down. It's pretty slick. I dont climb w/o it.
