I agree with Ultimag. I have a 24" on my Mossberg 835. It is a ported barrel (which helps) and it is also tapped for a scope mount. I use a full full turkey choke and have dropped gobblers at 40-45 yards out. I have fiber optic sights which really brighten up the target and helps you see your sights in low light situations.
