I would definately recommend purchasing the extra memory cards! I was able to buy a couple 128 MB cards of eBay for $30 total. Right now, I have 3 cards and 2 game cameras, that way I can rotate the cards and bring one home each time I check them!

As far as it not taking pictures, I've had a couple issues with that, but it was just last week when I forgot to turn the IR aim on--not sure if thats the problem, but I didn't get a lot of pictures like I usually do.

The battery's I've got have been a little bit of a bother, too. Finally figured that out, though. We have rechargable batteries, and we weren't getting them fully charged--or even close to it. Last time we checked them, it had been a week and still at 99% battery power.
