Congrats on your 1st ML deer. I too shot my first this year in the Adirondacks in upstate NY. T/C 50 cal., stainlessOmegaw/a 250 grain Shockwave and 3 777 pellets. The deer crumpled where it stood at 60 yards. It fell so fast I actually thought I missed, when the smoke cleared I still couldnt see it. I reloaded with 2 more deer within 40 yards (not an easy task when shaking violently with excitement).... I would have shot another one hadthe opportunity presented itself (remember I thought I missed the 1st one). Luckily they moved off and I was able to find the deer right where I shot. I was only in the woods for 20 minutes before it walked by too. Coffee was still hot in camp when I got back!
