Sounds like you are in a situation similar to mine. My wife is a homemaker and I have two boys, and sometimes she gives me guilt trips about hunting. She knew I hunted when we met and even told me she'd never tell me I couldn't hunt. I think as long as you make her feel special and do things for her around the time of your trip, she'll be ok with it. God knows being around kids all day would drive ME nuts!
