I've never brought a book or anything with me as I have to be Johhny on the spot with the place I hunt. It does get long sometimes but I just keep reminding myself a brute could come out any second. I'll usually break it up as well, sit for 3-4 hrs in the am with rattling when I get tired or bored, then do pushes or pheasant in the afternoon (lunch), then back in the stand for prime time. I guess thats why I respect guy's who can pass on the smaller bucks and wait for the big boy. I'm rtying to be one of those hunters now, but I'm usually going home empty handed. Ah well, I know good things come to those who wait.That's how I'll keep hunting and hopefully you guy's will read all about my story in Big Buck Magazine
