RE: Best Time of The Day to Rattle
Kind of depends on your location and stage of rut. If your hunting in deep transition any time of the day can be productive but especially around the peak rut stage rattling has worked well for me mid-day. If your hunting on the boundries or food sources where deer must travel some distance I would say close to those peak movement times of AM or PM. However the biggest factor to rattling success is competition to breed, if the buck to doe ratio is out of whack your probably better rattling the pre-rut with sparing type sequences to envoke curiosity responses more than anything else.
