I'm using a Remington M700 BDL varmint with 26" bull barrel, leupold varix III 4.5X14 scope,and harris bipod in .22-250. i'm good to about 350 yards with that boy. shooting 55 grain hornady VMAX rounds. it's pretty heavy, and if im in brush and doing some walking, I got a ruger m77 in .223 witha leupold rifleman 3X9. 50 grain flat base hollow points in that. nothing like a .22-250
