whitetailhunter, no offense taken. We just look at the table from different sides I'll be honest. I don't actually "hunt" anything with high-powered rifles. I live in Illinois where rifles for deer are illegal, so coyotes and occasional crows are the only living things I shoot with them. If I ever went on a hunt where I thought I would need more umm than my handloaded .308 or 30-06 could give I'd probably go on up to .338s and say "hey, once in a lifetime..."

As much as I talk about handloading UP the 308 there's nothing that says you can't handload DOWN a 300
