Default Pictures of Recurve and first flemish string

The pictures are of my recurve and some arrows I fletched using EZ Wraps for my compound. The bow is leaned against a taxidermy piece I did for the IL Taxidermy Association Show this year. I took a second place ribbon with the entry. The bow is not part of the entry its just where I took the pic. I bought the bow back in early 2002 and have not hunted with it yet, but I have been practicing with it. I was becoming a fair shot with it at first but have not had the time available to practice with it a lot until just recently. I will probably stick with the compound this year until I become more proficient with the bow. I do pretty good until I get past 10yds. I would like to be proficient out to 20 before I hunt with it. The string is my first try at building a flemish string and I thought it turned out pretty good. I plan to shoot it some tomorrow and see how it shoots. Oh yeah, the buck is a pick up from a dead buck my father found about 10 yrs ago. Due to the surrounding circumstances and time of year we believe the deer was an unrecovered deer shot before archery season from the road. I don't have much use for poachers. The cape was from a big buck a friend of mine killed last year and chose to not have it mounted. I am not sure how the pictures will look. I am afraid they may be too big.
