Those deer
seem to be almost tame --but it's all an act!
I hunt a suburban area too--it's my best spot. The deer will walk into some of the neighbor's yards while they're mowing the grass. However, if you set one foot in "their" woods, they're as able as any deer to bust you. Like Il Hunter says, the bucks aren't exactly plentiful. The landowner who gave me permission says he sees does all the time, but no bucks. I know they're there, but mostly nocturnal for now . . .
