There is a company that makes a stronger ejector spring that can really help. The guys on the graybeard site would know who he is. I did but I don't remember where I put the name. Many polish the chamber to help some more. Case lencht it important as well. I have tried two of the 243 NEF and had trouble with both. I don't know when the new barrels with the mechanicl ejectors will be out. They may be now. One just does not have trouble with the rimmed cases. I love the 45-70. I have the Buffalo Classic and the standard Handi rifle with 22 inch barrel. The 45-70 will put out all you need on both ends. I also have the 357 Mag, 44 Mag and 7mm-08. I naver had a case stick in the 7mm-08 or the 280 that I had. The 223's have also never failed to function and are deadly accurate. Most will do 1/2 inch groups from the box with 45 grain bullets.
