Default RE: War in iraq?

hey hunting girl, havent argued with you in a while, and i honestly don't know how this thread came back, or a new one was started, but as to your going along with the sheep herder and being sheep, that is exactly what makes Bush so unique, he doesnt do what other people tell him, he does what he thinks is right. You can choose not to think so, and as you can see by his current ratings, the majority of united states citizens are taking your viewpoint.

I look at the situation like in the movie hotel Rwanda, i know its just a movie, but look at the situation these people are in. What would you do if you were the leader of a country? Nato tells everyone to not go help these people, even though they need it. If you go help them, the helpers will suffer casualties, and end up killing a lot of native citizens, some who by chance may be innocent. but if you don't go help, all those people will die or be maken slaves, but the aggressors will live better. It is a very similar situation to Iraq except for the motivation of going there. It is to centralize an area where the terrorists would react outside of our nation, and at the same time help people in dire need of liberation. Democracy through history has proven to be the most stable and prosperous government possible, and will give these people what they want in a ruler. I know right now it seems like we are determing what is better for them and not letting them have a say, but it is not just an issue of American safety, its an issue of human rights, and global security. A stabalized middle East will slowly but surely stabalize the rest of the world, seeing as how it is the most unstable area on earth at this point, and the biggest threat to the world.
