Felsenthal is correct. They did not used to allow baiting of hogs so check that part out. Used to know an old boy that used a 22 mag cause he could cruise the creeks and get out and slip a clip in. Said it was legal, who knows. Good luck.

Remember those ol boys are tough. Shot one at 20 yards with my .06. The jacketed Nosler solid base broke the near shoulder with no problem. It went through the vitals with no problem. It did however shatter against the far shoulder. Did not break the far shoulder.

Also if you hunt them on the ground, remember those boys can and will fight back.
