Yes, I am doomed to hunt public land, its sad because Sam Houston is so close but also so very over hunted, Thier are some Archery only units up in somerville that are great for Hogs and deer, but the 280 mile round trips are tiring. I have hunted pretty much everything public from here to Nacogdoches, with poor results, But the hunts themselves are enjoyable.
