RE: Texas Bowhunters...Report!
I'll tell you what. I have not been out to hunt because I am a gun hunter but I do see deer on a daily basis since I live on the land I hunt on. It's about a 5 minute walk to my stand from my front door. On my previous scouting adventures, I have found that my regular visitors are a doe, a nubbin' buck, and two 4 pts. That's a good sign and I'm really looking forward to see what some cooler weather will do.
As you know Rico, we have some rain around today because of an approaching cold front which will stall out and won't bring us the cool weather as first forecasted. It looks like Wednesday into Wednesday night will be a big time rain maker and we might get a cool snap come this weekend. Don't hold your breath though.
On another note: It is October Rico so maybe, just maybe dogs could be your problem. Afterall, it is the beginning of breeding season.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
