the carbon/charcoal is not odor speicific in it's odor containing abilities. that is why i was inquiring about other brands. I have had animals downwind of me who have and have not smelled me. I shot a coyote yesterday downwind and he never knew i was there. I have also had some deer downwind that did know i was there.
