I think any cartrige pushing over 3,300 fps should use coated bullets.(increased barrel life)
It sounds as though you believe that barrels wear out due to friction when in fact throat erosion isthe determining factor in a barrelsaccuracy life.Coated bullets have not been proven to reduce throat erosion.
