I am lucky hear in Southern Michigan to see deer every time you go into the woods. We have a general rule on our lands that if the buck is not big enough to make you mount it, then you let it walk and take a doe. The population of the deerallowsus tobe succesful with less scouting. However, I love to be in the woods year round. I tend to find myself looking for deer sign whenever I am out there and making a mental note about it.
