The ballistic are not as good as a .357 in a carbine, however they are better than a .357 in a shorter pistol barrel.

I was not saying it was a good round for deer, his question was will it work at 75 yards. In my opinion, yes it will. Would it be my choice, nope. Like I said though, it is better than a .410 slug gun and I know plenty of people that have taken deer with that. Energy wise it is pretty close to a 44 mag out of a pistol.

This is just comparisons between factory loaded ammo from winchester, not handloads or anything.
