While new is nice, your on a tight budget. Get your self down to some pawn shops, lots of folks on hard times right now. Find one who deals in guns, not just a shop with one or 2 rusted out oldies. Check them out then take some notes on what you like and go to wallies or your sporting good store and get the shooters bible, don't buy it just open it find the gun and get the estimated value. It is likely the pawn shop listed the gun at 10% 20% higher than what's in the book. Make him an offer. If the guy is repuatble he will allow you to buy and shoot with the door open for a return if the gun turns out to have an issue. You could end up with a real nice set up for alot less than a new one.
