Theres a small screw on the side of the pendulum that controls how freely the pin swings. Mine came to tight from the factory and i didn't notice it till the day after I missed. I posted here and emailed savage and they told me to loosen the set screw. They said "not too loose because it will cause noise". I loosened it to the point that its moves freely. It didn't make any noise and shot true.
