Round nose bullets work very well. They expand much more reliably than spitzers, at a wider range of velocities. However, as someone mentioned, they are aerodynamically inferior to the spitzer type (they have an inferior "ballistic coefficient"). RN's are best used at shorter ranges, from 0 to 200 yards.
