I shot for Oregon for 5 years. Unfortunately the Oregon Bow Company was purchase by an investor group that had little experience in the archery industry. Many of the engineers and tech’s left to work with other manufacturers or in other fields. The quality and customer service rapidly went down hill and they closed the doors shortly thereafter. It’s a shame because this was one, if not THE innovator of quality custom bows. I have heard rumors that Mountaineer Archery and a handful of other manufacturers tried to replicate their bows, but none have succeeded. I’m sure some of the engineers and techs that left Oregon carried their experience and knowledge on to other manufacturers, but I see nothing in today’s market that has the quality and innovations that were a trademark of Oregon.
