Another thing that I'm finding hard to do, which might help account for my problem with concentration... Listening to your body and letting it tell you it can't handle that draw weight.

Last time I ordered a bow, I KNEW I needed to drop down to 40-45 pounds. I KNEW IT. I weighed all the pros and cons and 40-45 pounds wasthe most logical choice,legal to hunt with - at least here it is -and a lot easier on my arthritis.

What did I do? Naturally, I let testosterone be my guide and wound up with a 52 pounder. So, I go shoot and I know my bum shoulder is gonna hurt but I shoot anyway. Then my shoulder aches for three days afterward.

I got to thinking about this while driving home from the range last night... with my shoulder aching and throbbing.... [&:]
