I have been hunting a few years and never encountered a fron on shot (always broadside). I always thought a front/chest shot was an ok one to take. Most books and magazines I have read show the different shot placements and the front/middle of the chest has been one of them. Is all this mis-information? Or is it the fact that wvbowhntr was hestitant and iffy on the shot from the getgo?

BTW, If it is an incorrect shot placement, spare me any of the critisim. This is why im a member here and other boards is to learn more/read more etc etc..
