I bought my first camera and put it out last Thursday by 1 of my bowstands. Saturday morning I hunted but couldn't stay long because I wanted to see the pictures too bad being my 1st time. A total of 38 with a few little bucks. I deleted the pictures and left it out again until Tuesday morning and had 185 pictures this time with are alot of the same deer because it was set on 1 minute intervals. My problem is that all but 2 pictures are after dark into the early morning hours. There were deer there everyday from a few hours before light until minutes before. It would be tough for me to hunt any mornings without spooking these deer and there was at least 1 shooter. My questions are do yall think that this is the moon phase causing all of the activity to be at night? Also even if it is the moon phase isn't this a rediculous percentage of daytime activity, 2 out of 223? What would some of you do in this situation? Also this piece of property is only hunted by 3 of us, plus maybe a few poachers, but it's in a very secure area which is risky just getting there without permission. Thanks for any help or advice.
