still hunting works well IF you got the knack for it,I think the most productive way is to get around the nut trees they are working and just have seat and quietly wait,usually takes 15-30 minutes for em to come out after you sit down, dont shoot the first one you see,wait till 3 or 4 are moving around. After popping the first you can usually pick off 1 or 2 more before they hole up again.If that fails just give it another 15-30 minutes and they'll be back. Still hunting them is great practice for sneaking up on deer,slow and quiet is the name of the game here.(HINT- if its warm and dry out,take off your shoes,put on some heavy socks and youd be surprised how quietly you can move around on dry-crunchy leaves)
