one year our opener was a full moon...ride to the spot we saw TONS of deer in the fields........one MONSTER buck feet from our truck on a dirt road in a pine thicket.....man was he hugeeeee....that day we saw over 20 deer....had 2 does and a buck on the ground and draggin by 9am.........but the pressure was on....the deer population was at its peak....and we had the best spot in the woods........so i cant say if deer were NATURALLY moving.......seems everything was just being bumped around......i had a bunch of guys claim to have seen my buck....a nice normal sized 6pt for the area....that year it was 3pts to a side...and they all claimed to have not known if it had brow tines....i didnt care i was a JR..it had antlers it was mine lol......dad saw it and knew it was a 6 right away.....but if the other guys did indeed see it that proves they were just being bumped around all morning.....but we seen alot of diffrent groups....dads doe was a stragler came out alone looking lost and spooked.....my doe came with 3 other does.......and my buck was with atleast 4 other deer.......plus otheres throughout the morning
