Nice pics JD. Got love them little white meat winged devils!!
DoubleA, you'll be spending the bulk of your days outdoors with your pac boots, so really any waterproof/semi insulated boots will work for camp use. I doubt you'll have to trudge to far to use the facilities...if you know what I mean! A spare set that isn't as warm wouldn't hurt just encase it is warmer out though...so if your buying new boots for this trip 800-1000 would be more than adequate. I myself wear 600-800 just wear the appropriate sock weights for the conditions I hunt in...then again it don't really feel cold to me till she dips in the -20's..lol! BTW we don't make you get off the plane in the snow...so just make sure you have access to a jacket, etc when you get your gear. Jeans, long sleeve shirt, socks and shoes are advised though! Also, we have heat in our vehicles now..so you'll be ok for the ride from the plane to camp as well

!
Earlyin you should be right in the mix. IMOone of thebest times around the rut is the chase phase, those last few days were the smell is in the air but them does just aren't willing to let him get some...can be down right blazing. The area you are hunting in a word is AWESOME, so enjoy the ride!
Getting near, I wish you both and all the other hunters the best on your hunts! Make sure to updateus on the events!
