I have hunted deer (and the occasional woodchuck)with this rifle for the past 15 years. Nothing wrong with with the rifle at all. The7600 is not near as popular as bolt actions or even single shoot rifles. I shoot hand loaded balistic tips (130 grain) and produce good size groups at 100 yards.
