My dad has a remington 870 12 gauge. It is a 26" barrel and we use it for waterfowl. He liked it until he got a 28" on his SBE I. I see that you like the smaller barrels but, I recommend for these three birds a 26"-28" barrel. These are what my family and I have used forever and we like these sizes.
