I would buy the Browning just because of past good results with the A-Bolts. Where I live the 270 and 300 WSM are selling well. However the WSSM's have not caught on . At least not yet. I can see no real advantage to the Short mags. If I already had a lon Mag, I would not trade it for a short version. If I had the short one, I wouldn't trade for the long one either.
