Quilly-If your scope is 1.5" above the bore which is pretty standard you can't possibly be out more than 1.5" even if the deer is at the muzzle.As the distance increases you will be closer and closer to point of aim until the line of sight crosses the bullet path which will vary with the distance you sight in at.
