Default RE: do you bend the rules? what is immoral?

You know, there are some things that I feel are dumb rules. In your case, a certain size flashlight. Thats funny. How close do you suppose you are going to get to a deer in the dark shining a photon beam on him, regardless of size?

I hunt by the rules, mostly. Here in PA, the rules arent as strict on "dumb" things though. One thing I don't do, is wear orange like archers are required to while moving here. I hunt on over 600 acres of private ground that is virtually inaccesable and watched closely. Everyone here hunts smart and its not a problem. I know I should be wearing it, but I dont feel its unethical in any way.

Other than that, I play by the rules. I feel I owe the deer I hunt that. I have a lot of respect for the wildlife I pursue and want to give them a fair playing field as well.

Some things though, like baiting, even if it was legal here, I wouldn't do it. Just doesn't seem right to me.
